Woof is a little bit different to other agencies….
… we have something that’s pretty unique, that has helped form the company, the way we think and the way we work….
What is it? Well Woof is run by a brother and sister team.
This often comes as a surprise to our clients and we understand how some people may wonder how that works – we know that not all sibling relationships are, shall we say, harmonious.
The simple answer is it just does. For us anyway. It works so well we’ve been doing it for over 10 years.
But looking closer, we’ve realised that what works is both our familiarity and ability to fully know and trust the others key strengths.
Sarah (Sarah Macadam) set the company up in 2004, after mastering her craft at Cunning Stunts – one of the very first experiential agencies and perhaps most famous for the Gail Porter nude projection onto the Houses of Parliament in 1999, promoting the now defunct FHM magazine.
James (James Farmer ) joined in 2006 from a background in accountancy and photography. Both have core skills that complement the other. Each plays to their key strength leaving the other to focus on their own complementary skillset.
After 13 years in the business Sarah has a profound and implicit understanding of the key processes involved in experiential marketing. Sarah’s core skill is attention to detail and bringing the magic – ensuring that everything Woof works on is the best it can be, from pitch writing and creative solutions to dressing a set on the day.
James’s core skill is project management – he loves seeing ideas brought to life. He brings the practical and problem solving element to Woof. He knows exactly what is needed to get the job done and has a clear understanding of how things work and where to look for solutions to the challenges that will undoubtedly crop up. When working with James you know he’s got your back.
Together Sarah and James head up a team of motivated and inspired individuals who each bring something to the table. The whole team at Woof believe passionately in the value of an experience – how it engages people, motivates them to take action and stirs their emotions. Woof understands how this leads to increased brand loyalty and direct purchase.
